Our prestigious venue in Crosby, Liverpool has catered for a host of events over the years including; Race days/nights, Sportsmans Dinners, Charity/Fundraising events, Christenings, Birthdays, Weddings, Funerals, Engagements, Anniversaries.

The Barbacoa offers a spacious air-conditioned function room that can cater for small business meetings up to celebration parties with 200 people.

The Blundell Room is regularly used for cabaret nights and quiz nights, but is available to use for Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Funerals and much, much more.

We can cater for most conferences, meetings, presentations and corporate hospitality in our Blundell Room.
Our facilities briefly comprise:

After Funeral Arrangements

We have catered for many funerals and have over 31 years experience.

  • We open especially to suit the times of your funeral service
  • We can offer a wide range of buffets or if you prefer, a sit down meal
  • We can cater for up to 150 persons in our Blundell Room or in our downstairs bar (minimum 30 persons)
  • A bar is provided as is tea and coffee
  • All funeral buffets include tea and coffee as standard

Sunday Christenings

  • Private use of our ground floor restaurant for up to 50 persons
  • We can offer a wide range of buffets or if you prefer, a sit down meal

Unfortunately, our first floor Blundell Room is used every Sunday for our Sunday Carvery, however, we can cater for christenings on sundays in our ground floor restaurant area for up to 50 persons.  We can offer either buffets from our buffet brochure or offer a 3 course Sunday Lunch for £15.95 per person including room hire.  Alternatively, we can cater for large parties from our Sunday Carvery

Private Dining Sunday Lunches

Why not book our restaurant for your own personal use.  Available on Sundays with a choice of either a buffet or set menu (see christening menu above).  Ideal for all family occasions or just an excuse for the family to get together.  Please ask about other options to make your day special.

Saturday Afternoons for Baby Showers?

  • Private use of our ground floor restaurant for up to 50 persons subject to minimum numbers eveningsa (saturday and sunday afternoons available)
  • We can offer a wide range of buffets or if you prefer, a sit down meal

What better way to celebrate the pending arrival of your new baby than to have a baby shower at Barbacoa.  Our restaurant area is available for private use on Saturday afternoons and we can offer a buffet or sit down meal for up to 50 persons.

Private Dining

Barbacoa can offer private dining at select times.  We can offer private dining mid week from our standard menus or from a specially designed menu to suit your requirements.  We welcome private clubs and other organisations where privacy is required.  Please contact our management team to discuss your requirements

Charity Nights

Our Blundell room is available for charity nights and fundraising events.

We offer the Blundell room to charity and fundraising events free of room hire charge.  You do not need to use our catering for charity events, however, we do not allow you to bring your own food or drink or own caterer.  Please contact us to discuss.  We allow full use of our facilities including projector (great for race nights) PA and sound and lighting systems and staging.
